What started as a love for brows has grown into a fully established semi-permanent makeup and beauty studio, built on trust, education, and a genuine passion for creating natural, refined results.
I began my journey under the name Brows by Melissa Louise, specialising in bespoke brow treatments and helping clients feel more confident through subtle enhancements. As my skills, experience, and services evolved, so did my brand — leading to the creation of Melissa Smart Beauty & Ink, a space that now reflects the full scope of my work in semi-permanent makeup, brows, lips, and lashes.

My approach to beauty is calm, considered, and completely bespoke. I believe semi-permanent makeup should enhance your natural features — not overpower them or follow short-lived trends. Every face is different, and every treatment I offer is tailored to suit your features, skin type, undertones, lifestyle, and expectations.

That’s why I place so much importance on honest advice, thorough consultations, and taking the time to ensure each client feels informed, comfortable, and confident before moving forward.

I am fully qualified, insured, and committed to continual professional development within the PMU industry. My training covers a range of advanced techniques, allowing me to create results that are soft, wearable, and tailored — rather than one-style-fits-all. I regularly invest in further education to refine my skills, expand my treatment offerings, and stay aligned with best practices in semi-permanent makeup.
